Just Elope! // Wedding Tips // Champagne + Linen // Western Montana Wedding Designers & Planners1/28/2018 So you recently got engaged!? Congratulations! You should elope! It is no secret that we love elopements here at C+L Land. We wanted to discuss some key reasons why an elopement might be a valid option for you more adventurous couples. Or for couples who are working with a tighter budget. Or for couples who just simply don’t want to deal with the headache of planning a wedding. Budget // Okay let's get the big reason out of the way. Eloping is cheap af. Or you can make it as expensive as you want. Because guess what friend? You have complete control over the budget. Control // There are less elements to planning an elopement. Again, meaning you are in complete control. No need to worry about seating charts and family drama. Intimate // There is nothing more intimate than elopements with very close friends and family. We are talking less than ten people if that. Or no one at all. You are under no obligation to invite your great Aunt Suzy who sends you a $5 bill every year for Christmas. Sexy // Lets face it, eloping is extremely romantic. It is just you focusing on your significant other and celebrating your love. We cannot tell you how many couples tell us that they feel like they are planning their wedding to please their family. Location // Two words: Destination elopement! We want to do a Glacier National Park elopement. We dream about it in our sleep. The vision is clear. Here are some other kick ass elopement destination:
Split It Up // You don’t have to choose! You can easily have a small cozy ceremony and though throw a huge reception for all of your family and friends later on.
The most important thing is you and your partner and an elopement is the perfect way to celebrate the two of you. Photographer // Tiffany Photography

HAPPY 2018 FRIENDS!! In case you missed it, we did a recap of our 2017. Now sip on champagne (what we do best) and focus on 2018! As you may or may not know, one year ago today we launched our website here at Champagne + Linen. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO US! If you want a good laugh, here is our very first blog post. Still valid for any celebration. Started from the bottom, now we're here. Needless to say, New Year’s has a fond place in our hearts at C+L land, so we knew we wanted to do something big to celebrate this milestone. We teamed up with our two friends Tiffany with Tiffany Photography and Shannon with Velvet Bride and did a celebratory, glitzy AF anniversary shoot. We are excited to show these amazing photos with you! They say you should write down your New Year’s Resolutions to hold yourself accountable. So here’s ours: C+L’s ResolutionsPERFECT OUR CLIENT PROCESS // We want to be a well oiled machine. We are excited to take advantage of this “off season” to perfect the C+L experience. STYLED ELOPEMENT // We want to style an elopement - preferably at a national park! BLOG POSTS // We want to start providing YOU with one wedding related blog post a month. We already got a timeline in place, we just gotta stick to it! NEWSLETTER // Did you hear? We started a newsletter that will be chalked full of wedding designer and planning tips. Our goal it to have it sent out once a month. (Sign up here!!! You get a free emergency kit list when you sign up!). BOOKINGS // We want to book 10 weddings for 2019 (2018 is going to be amazing, but we have a feeling 2019 is going to be our year). NETWORK // We want to make more personal connections not only with our couples and clients, but with the wonderful vendors we work with. C+L is all about personal touches that is more meaningful than email chains. We want more coffee (or drink…) dates with other creative souls. FOCUS ON OUR FRIENDSHIP // We want more wine and pizza nights. We want to plan some kind of C+L retreat. And we want to take more professional photos, because we had a blast taking these photos with Tiffany!
Mariah’s Resolutions
