Thanksgiving Tablescape Ideas // Champagne + Linen // Missoula Wedding Planners + Designers

We are wedding planners and designers, so it's easy to say we are a little extra during holidays. We've put together some beautiful tables over the past two years and we want to share our design tips for your Thanksgiving tablescapes! We're talking plates, napkins, goblets, all. the things. But make sure to read to the bottom where we talk about what is the most important thing about your Thanksgiving table!
Champagne + Linen are Montana based wedding planners and designers who share Thanksgiving tablescape inspiration. The first is to have fun glasses! This wood sweetheart table has a black chiffon table runner, bud vases, gold candlesticks, black candles, vintage amber goblets, gold silverware, black napkins, and a wax seal menu card.

Fun glasses // See these goblets? We bought four of them at Goodwill for less than $4. Guests will feel extra fancy with unique glasses, but they don't need to come with the extra fancy price tag. They also don't need to match!
Champagne + Linen are Montana based wedding planners and designers who share Thanksgiving tablescape inspiration. The second is to break out the china! This white wooden table has a purple table runner, gold candlesticks, pillar candles, clear vintage wine glasses, gold silverware, hand dyed pink and gold napkins, vintage mismatched gold plates, place cards with pink and gold.

Break out the china // We're firm believers that if you have it, USE IT! It might be expensive, but it is a waste of money if they're just sitting in a box in the garage!

This wooden table has a macrame table runner with antlers, gold candlesticks, wine corks, vintage goblets, gold silverware, vintage gold china and purple napkins.

Placecards // You can make these as simple or detailed as you would like!

This wooden table has marble chargers, white napkins, giant wine glasses, grey napkins, black silverware, copper napkin ring, Einstein lightbulb place cards, and a large floral centerpiece with pink flowers and greenery.

Napkins //  Place the napkins at each place setting, get some extra adult points if they're cloth!
Champagne + Linen are Montana based wedding planners and designers who share Thanksgiving tablescape inspiration. The fifth is to break out the napkin rings! This table is filled with a fall centerpiece, black candlesticks, black table runner, gold candle sticks, black and amber drink goblets, and gold placecards.

Napkin Rings // Don't have official napkin holders? No worries! These are actually leaf steams. If you live somewhere (like us in Montana) where leaves are long gone this time of year, grab some string or ribbon!
Champagne + Linen are Montana based wedding planners and designers who share Thanksgiving tablescape inspiration. The sixth is to fill the table! This table is filled with a gold charger, clear plate, silverware, cut candle votives, champagne glasses, salad, bread, and a bridal bouquet.

Fill that table //  Fill it with candles, drinks, florals, and all. the. food. And most importantly, fill it will people!
Champagne + Linen are Montana based wedding planners and designers who share Thanksgiving tablescape inspiration. The final tip is to surround your table with people and empty bottles. This table shows the aftermath of a wedding with eucalyptus garland, candles, chiffon runners, and tall vases.

In the end, Thanksgiving is about giving thanks. Your guests (aka friends and family) will not care about having dinner at an immaculately designed table. It's about who sits around the table! As long as there are some empty bottles scattered on the table, that's a sign of a successful night!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Cheers,
C+L
