Oh, Brian and Hannah. Where to even begin? These two were a dream to work with. We coordinated their Montana destination wedding. Their main priority was to spend as much time with their family and friends as possible. This is what lead them to have a camp theme wedding - getting to share meals, floating on the lake, and enjoying the beautiful Montana big skys. Their wedding was at the Spruce Lodge at Glacier Camp which allowed their guests to stay on the property and enjoy the camp life.
These two were also the most welcoming people you can ever imagine. Not only did they allow us to stay on property but also IN THEIR HONEYMOON ROOM (the night before the wedding)! Whaaaaat?! On top of this, they put us at the "Dream Team" table! Come on. Just having a seat is ground breaking, but DREAM TEAM?! How fricken sweet.
Hannah is a graphic designer and added all sort of camp touches to their wedding day - those darling custom wooden coasters? That was her. The table names that were titled after inside jokes they had with those guests? How sweet are they?! Our favorite camp touch was their frosé machine...okay it's not camp related (at least none of the camps we went to had that), it it was a huge hit.
Now that's enough words, check out these beauties that Cluney Photo captured.
There's no better way to start off your wedding day than floating on the lake surrounded by your favorite people.
What is your #1 piece of advice for engaged couples?
HANNAH: Hmmm advice... I guess just to keep your focus on what about the event is most important to you, your "north star". For us, I'd say that was having as much quality time with our friends and family as possible. It's easy to let details compound (and they definitely did -- I ordered decorations we never bothered putting out just because I started over-thinking things!) but try to reel yourself back in occasionally to what is most important to the both of you.
BRIAN: I second Hannah on this one. Making sure you take the time to step back and enjoy what's playing out in front of you was critical and made the weekend truly special for us. I would just add that this is important to do with your spouse as well. Hannah and I made sure to step away and have our little loving moments where we reflected on what just took place and how important the day and weekend and people were to us. That meant the world to me, to not only marry my best friend but to also allow ourselves the moment to truly be engulfed by it instead of letting the action items of the day take precedence.
What was your favorite moment during your wedding day?
HANNAH: I honestly loved all the reception dancing (especially the couples dance that showed the amazing marriages surrounding ours!) and then night swimming and hanging out by the fire pit once the music had to stop. It was great hosting a camp-style wedding because of the extra time we got with everybody near and dear to us. Time still flew by SO quickly, but I felt very present thanks to having the full weekend of fun.
BRIAN: I thought the toasts were awesome. Such amazing and heartfelt sentiments from some of our best and dearest people in our lives. I think it sort of set up the rest of the revelry for the evening. Sitting there at dinner and looking around at every important face from my past was an absolute trip and something I'll remember forever.
Which Arch is Right for Your Wedding? // Champagne + Linen // Western Montana Wedding Designers + Planners
Whether you want to go the more traditional, modern, outside the box, or classic route we've got some inspiration for you. Here are a variety of different arches that Champagne + Linen has designed to give you some inspiration!
What are you planning on doing for your arch?! Tell us below!
Zoe and Cory met many years ago in Missoula when they were out with friends at a bar. Cory also happened to be Kappa Alpha Theta’s houseboy, which Zoe knew but hadn’t officially met him yet. It was instant chemistry (and I would know, Zoe and I were sorority sisters!), and it’s been nothing but bliss ever since.
I was so honored when Zoe messaged me about C+L helping out with their wedding. I can’t believe how the years have flied since college, and I had been keeping up with her and Cory’s adventures via the usual social media routes, and was so happy that they were finally tying the knot! We couldn’t wait to be a part of their winter wonderland wedding in Bozeman, MT at Foster Creek Farm back in February. This was our very first wedding of the new year, and we could not wait to kick it off with a celebration we were certain would be the bee’s knees.
Some of the main highlights from Zoe and Cory’s wedding were their gorgeous ceremony they had on the outdoor deck of the main barn, Zoe’s killer fur wedding wrap, and their fun party with tons of bangin hits that us three ladies couldn’t help but dance inappropriately to and sing along to in the kitchen. Zoe’s wedding was dreamy, a lil’ bit steamy, and so fun. All the guests truly enjoyed themselves, the food (ummmmm let’s all take a minute to admire soup bars and doughnuts for dessert!) was out of this world, and there were so many sweet moments like this one.....
We covered a LOT of ground in the hours leading up to the ceremony. We did all the table design, worked our booties off to pull off Zoe’s gorgeous arch, and coordinated with The Garage who catered Zoe’s ah-mazing soup bar. We even set up her amazing dessert table from Granny’s Gourmet Doughnuts, and in our signature style we even took out a few lipstick stains
MIssy Short, Zoe’s photographer, captured each and every moment of her perfect day, including all of the little details. You know us, we LOVE the details!
Zoe’s sweet words about us were the icing on the cake. Here’s a snippet of what she had to say about her experience with us….
“....They worked with all of our vendors, guests, and bridal party to make sure that everything transitioned smoothly from event to event without my husband or I ever having to lift a finger. To top it off, they even blotted out several stains that got spilled on my dress and my husband's shirt throughout the evening. The women at Champagne and Linen are three of the most savvy, prepared, down-for-a-challenge, and genuinely devoted women you will ever meet. It was an honor to have them be a part of our wedding, we know it wouldn't have been the same without them. Thank you C+L!"
We couldn’t have asked for a better way to kick off our wedding season! Thank you Zoe and Cory for asking us to be a part of your special day. We hope you’re enjoying your incredible honeymoon in Grenada (drool)!

Tyler + Zee || Sky Ridge Ranch, Ronan, Montana || Montana Destination Wedding || Champagne + Linen || Montana Wedding and Event Planners
We were lucky enough that our dear friend (and go-to wine connoisseur) Jessica refered us to her friends, Zee + Tyler. Zee + Tyler are currently living in Chicago (YAY Montana destination wedding!). We didn’t have the pleasure of meeting them in person until the week of their wedding. They are our ideal clients - their main focus was to make sure their friends and family were having a good time, and man, their attendees had a blast!
Z+T’s wedding was at Sky Ridge Ranch which is nestled in at the base of the beautiful Mission Mountains. There were so many different locations for photographs - birch forest, a bridge over the pond, the beautiful barn, the retro truck, gosh the list goes on and on.
There were so many meaningful touches incorporated into Z+T’s wedding. The first was that Tyler’s best man was their adorable german shepard Raji. He was there through the whole night soaking up love from all guests. We love a couple who includes their fur babies!
Side note: can we talk about how amazing the bridal party looked? We love the mismatched look for both bridesmaids AND groomsmen. Dusty bridesmaids dresses are one of the biggest trends this summer (Marissa + Jonah’s maids also had similar colors!).
The second highlight for us was that Zee and her dad decided to forgo the typical father daughter dance. Instead they had a competition to see who could make five baskets (with their beach balls) quickest. Cheating was highly encouraged. Zee also played in her crazy amazing heels!
After the meaningful first, father/daughter, and mother/son dances, the guests partied the night away. RMF killed it with the music! The whole wedding day really showed us what was most important to Z+T - having a good time with their friends + family!
***UPDATE*** Since we shared this wedding, it has been featured in Rocky Mountain Bride. Check is out!
C+L had the honor of coordinated Jonah + Marissa 's wedding at a family friend's home in Red Lodge, Montana. Marissa happens to be Alicia and Mariah's sorority sister. She is also a talented wedding photographer who participated in our vintage spring styled shoot.
When we first launched Champagne + Linen, Marissa was one of the first people we told. She was so excited and supportive. Right then she would want us to coordinate her wedding (keep in mind she wasn't engaged at this time...). Flash forward a few weeks, Jonah + Marissa were engaged!
Jonah + Marissa are seriously the coolest couple. I mean, look at them. Their wedding attire is on point and so authentic to who they are. Their ceremony and reception space was even dressed up – their alter was complete with a Persian rug!
We love mismatched bridesmaid dresses and Marissa's ladies KILLED it. We love when brides give their girls the freedom to have different styled and colored dresses. It ensures that they can find a dress that looks amazing on them. The champagne, mauve and dusty blues looked beautiful with their wild greenery bouquets.
The men, oh the men. They all wore dark navy suites with a killer thin floral tie. They were such a fun group and Kristin capture so many fun moments, wait until you see them below!
We've seen Jonah and Marissa's relationship grow over the years and are so excited to see them in this next adventure - marriage!
