Call me vain but I love my birthday. Some of my fondest memories (or at least what I can remember/what people have told me the next morning over hungover brunch) are from past birthday adventures shared with the people I love most. I will take any excuse I can to throw a get together and invite all my close friends and family. It is not even about me becoming one year older any more (honestly I got over that after 21…) it is about having fun with the people who matter most, and about making embarrassing memories that keep me up at night in horror. This year, I knew I had to do something big for my birthday since it is so close after the creation of C+L. I wanted to do something fun for everyone, but I also wanted to do something a little more adult. After all, 25 is an important milestone. Five years from 30 (God I feel sick). I’m an “established adult” with a big girl job and my own business. I wanted this party to reflect that. SO I picked a classy establishment, The Montana Distillery, and I picked a fun theme, fiesta (the idea for the theme came to me as I was inhaling my fourth taco on Taco Tuesday a couple weeks ago). I wanted to share 25 things that I have learned and live by. Yes, I got most of them from Pinterest...
